5 Seeds Schizolobium parahybum Fern Tree

Beautiful fern-like foliage. A fast growing tall Brazilian tree that can be pruned to desired size. The 3' leaves are subdivided having 15 paired pinnae and each has 10-30 pairs of oblong leaflets. Needs constant warmth and humidity. The large flat seeds are oval shaped and have a hard coat. Growing Instructions & Tips: Carefully file or nick the outter parameter of the seed to allow moisture entry, then soak the seeds for 4 hours. After soaking plant the seeds at a 3/4" depth using well draining soil mixture with 20% coarse sand added to it. Keep warm and only lightly moist. Pack Contains 5 Seeds
